Aliant gives back to Kids Help Phone during the Holidays
During the holidays, more than ever, troubled kids need a place to call. This holiday season Aliant is pleased to give back to Kids Help Phone and donate $1 for each new high speed internet and cellular activation between November 1 and December 25. In addition, Aliant will support this effort with paid
advertising beginning November 15 in newspapers across Atlantic Canada.
Kids Help Phone is Canada’s only toll-free, 24-hour, national telephone counseling, referral and Internet service for kids. In 2002, more than 41,000 calls were received from children and youth in Atlantic Canada, a 15 per cent increase over the previous year. Calls came from more than 400 communities. From Yarmouth to Summerside, Miramichi to Goose Bay, Kids Help Phone helps children in your home town.
Aliant is proud to support Kids Help Phone and help keep kids connected.
