Aliant and Progress Magazine partner to recognize business success

has announced that Aliant will be presenting sponsor of the annual Progress Top 101 Companies of Atlantic Canada for 2005. The Progress TOP 101 Companies is a highly anticipated ranking of companies setting the pace in this dynamic marketplace.

Participation in the Progress TOP 101 Companies of Atlantic Canada survey is voluntary. To qualify for inclusion in this survey, each company's corporate head office has to be located in Atlantic Canada or the company must have an independent board of directors based in Atlantic Canada. The data, which is collected in April and May of each year, reflects each company's latest corporate year-end. All submissions are subject to a verification process.

The TOP 101 awards ceremonies are now in their 8th year. This year ceremonies are being held in St. John's (September 27), Halifax (October 13), Charlottetown (October 18) and Saint John (October 20).
