Aliant’s prepaid cellular lineup expands, offering customers enhanced features, flexibility
Atlantic Canada –
Aliant, Atlantic Canada’s leading information and communications technology company, is now offering prepaid cellular customers more choice and flexibility with its expanded lineup of cellular handsets with enhanced features.
“During this busy back to school season, we want to help our fellow Atlantic Canadians stay in touch with friends and family by offering them even more choice with our extended lineup of prepaid phones,” says Terry Finnigan, Director, Wireless Consumer Marketing, Aliant. “Additionally, customers new to prepaid will receive 30 days of unlimited local calling to help them get accustomed to their new phone and understand their calling needs and patterns - another way we help make it easier for our customers to do what is important to them.”
In addition to increased functionality, prepaid customers can also enjoy airtime rates as low as five cents per minute on evenings and weekends with Aliant’s Nickel Nights & Weekends plan.
Prepaid customers can now choose from Aliant’s complete lineup of consumer handsets. There are more than 20 handsets available including the:
• Samsung a740 – a camera phone with built-in flash and a customized slideshow screensaver;
• LG 5400 - a colour clamshell with an internal antenna;
• Audiovox 8930 – a 1.3 mega pixel camera and video phone with stereo speakers; and,
• Nokia 6225 – a java-enabled cell phone with wireless Internet and FM radio
Aliant’s prepaid cellular gives customers access to a suite of features including text and picture messaging, ringtones, screensavers, downloadable games, call forwarding, three-way calling, call waiting and directory assistance.
